Access after a quote
A live service is not created at the instant you send the quote form. Access is granted after the quote is accepted and Templass reviews the order. Completing registration is required. It is not, by itself, a GRE endpoint.
What "access" means
On Dashboard the heading is Overview. When the account is live you should see:
| Overview field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Service | The service ID for this quote |
| Payment status | Whether the current invoice is paid |
| Panel access | Active when edge controls are available |
| Changes applying | Count of firewall, rate-limit, or port changes still pushing to the edge |
| Connection | GRE Tunnel or Cross-Connect |
| Capacity | Quoted clean Mbps |
| Latest invoice | Status of the last invoice |
| Renews | Next commercial date shown for the service |
| Service window | The period edge controls are live |
Your service window is open. Edge controls are live. means Firewall, Rate limiting, and Port requests will apply on the announced prefix.
A live path also has provisioned network values (prefix, GRE, or LOA). Those can lag the unlock.
Typical sequence
Quote requested
-> Quote accepted in writing
-> Invoice paid as specified
-> Templass unlocks Panel access
-> Admin issues GRE / prefix / LOA
-> You complete connectivity
-> Traffic is on AS208743
Any of those arrows can take time. Overview can show a service while GRE fields are still blank. That is provisioning, not a broken page.
While you wait
- Keep Dashboard open and confirm Payment status.
- Prepare
<YOUR_PUBLIC_GRE_IP>or your Equinix FR5 details. - Open a Ticket or write [email protected] if payment cleared and Panel access is still not Active.
- Do not point production DNS at a prefix you were not given.
What Templass confirms in writing
When access is real you have at least one of:
- Overview listing a service ID, capacity, and an open service window
- A message with GRE placeholders filled
- An LOA for FR5
A quote email by itself is accepted commercial intent, not a cutover.
Failed payment or end of term
Access can be removed when an invoice goes unpaid or the term ends. Mitigation stops with the service. Ask [email protected] before a planned cancel if you still need the prefix.
